Since leaving Cleveland Estate in 2003 (after 25 years), Keith O'Brien continues to pursue his passion for making long-lived Single Estate wine, establishinghis own label Silver Wings Wines highlighting old vines Mourvedre and Shiraz wine from the Shepparton region of Central Victoria, named after Vincenzo Conte who planted the vineyard in the late 1950’‘s. He also makes wines from a small high altitude vineyard on the slopes of Mt. Monument, nestled into the shoulder of Mt. Macedon north of Melbourne, where he believes some of the great wines of this era will emerge.
