The Duke Vineyard was established with a small planting in 1989. Since then, the area under vines has steadily increased to 4 acres. The vineyard is exclusively planted with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with a variety of different clones. The first commercial Chardonnay was made in 1994 and the first Pinot Noir in 1997. The wines are made entirely from fruit grown on the vineyard.
