Gilgai Estate

Nestled amongst mature applebox gums just outside the village of Gilgai, you’ll find the Gilgai Estate Winery, vineyard and cellar door.

Gilgai Estate was established in 1968 by Dr Keith Whish (father of winemaker Charlie Whish of Rosemount and Serafino fame). Alan Turvey purchased the vineyard in 2005, who now produces a range of quality red and white table wines and delicious fortified wines. It is our understanding that an upgrade of the Cellar Door, BBQ and café facilities was recently undertaken.
