Elsewhere

ELSEWHERE VINEYARD is located on the Huon River, at a latitude of just over 43ºS. It is one of the most southerly vineyards in Australia which makes for an ideal environment for growing grapes as the cooler climate allows for maximum freshness and flavour.

Beyond the quiet river are the jagged peaks of Tasmania’s southwest wilderness and Hartz Mountains. The first vines were planted in 1984 making these vines over 28 years old, creating the beautiful mature flavours in our wines. With more than half of the vineyard being Pinot Noir and the balance in Chardonnay, Sylvaner, Riesling and Gewurztraminer.

The vineyard is dry grown and the vines are pruned and picked by hand to ensure premium quality grapes.
