Diamond Valley was originally developed by David and Cathy Lance. Now owned by Graeme Rathbone, its home vineyard occupies a site capable of fine chardonnay, pinot and red Bordeaux varieties.

The Close Planted vineyard for pinot is a separate planting on the same site, but will apparently be sold under a different brand in future.

The blue labelled Yarra Valley wines are sourced from various sites in the Yarra Valley region. Without question, its best wines are made from Pinot noir.
