Allusion Wines

In 1996, plantings began at Allusion Vineyard, with the first yield in 1999. After falling in love with the Vineyard, the quirky cozy cellar door and the majestic views stretching over the vines all the way down to the sea, Tony Cassin & Trina Randall together with daughters Tilda and Arabella, purchased what they call, “a small parcel of great things”, in July 2007.
From a wine making perspective the land is gold. North facing slopes, with sand over clay, underpinned by a limestone base. Afternoon sea breezes cool the vineyard and vines in the hot summer months.
